Arrived just as chef was about to leave after lunch orders but she was happy to stay and cook for us. Had delicious mussels with crispy chips and warm bread. All so tasty. Well served and looked after by a young Portuguese man who was friendly but not intrusive. All in all a very pleasant experience. As we haven't been into any other pubs or restaurants due to Covid-19 restrictions this was the treat of our two week holiday. There was no one else in the room we sat in so we felt safe. Staff all wearing face coverings.

Lovely pub, great food although you don't get allot !
Fantastic Sunday lunch at The Hart, Hartland today... everything was so tasty and the meat exceptional...... Good practice in place with regard Covid and the staff very attentive.... support local and book a table , you won’t be disappointed.
Had a really nice and good quality Sunday roast in here and the amount of meat we got was well worth the price. Nice atmosphere inside and good garden. The moretti on tap was the nicest i've had, couldn't stop drinking it!
