I love the outside of the Harry Clasper. Lots of tables, pretty trees with lights. If its sunny, its brilliant. Only been inside a few times and with no music, lacking atmosphere now a bit more than before. Food was tasty for the price. Nice if you want to have a good quiet chat and the buildings beautiful. Overall its somewhere i would go back to if not more in the spring and summer.

I attended 10/10/20 and greeted at the door, however on this occasion I was surprisingly asked how I was paying. I always use the app and told the lady this. She then informed me that I had to sit in a certain area if I was using the app and the area I have sat in for months is for cash/card only customers. The area which I was told to sit in was out of view and a considerable distance from the coffee machine. I explained that I needed to plug my laptop in and that I wanted to be near the coffee machine. I was told by the female 'you can sit by the fire' (do I plug my laptop into the fire?) and 'they will bring the clean cups to you'. I don't think she understood so I explained that I was not willing to leave my laptop on a table with the risk of it being stolen whilst I refill up my coffee cup or having to pack it up and take it with me every time I needed a coffee. The female still refused to allow me to sit in the side near the coffee machine. Due to the female refusing to resolve the situation I explained that I would have to take my business elsewhere as I could not do my work and left. I have never experienced this problem in the previous months at the premises. I find that during these times you should be encouraging people to the pubs rather than turning them away. Contacted Wetherspoons direct and they just told me i should have spoke to the manager on the day and closed my complaint. POOR!

Just been along tonight (2nd Sep 20) and food was awesome. Lovely freshly cooked pizzas for the kids, and the chicken burger and codchips for myself and Mrs Brown were very, very tasty too. Want to especially thank the Duty Manager also, who from start to finish was more than helpful. The kids now say - \this is our favourite restaurant ever!

Historical building in Which an, now converted into a huge Wetherspoon pub. Plenty of room to find somewhere comfortable to sit, and includes two outside sitting areas. Good value and nice staff, comfortable place to eat and drink.
