Lovely pub in a nice village location. Staff is very kind & polite & cleaning standards are high. We went as a group of 4 people & we all felt very safe with no Covid-19 fears. The pub is also dog friendly & dog blankets made available were a nice touch. There is a spacious garden area with outdoors sitting but unfortunately not for this time of the year. I believe this pub has been through some recent refurbishments & it has been finished to a high standard. The central fire place was lovely & warming & matched well to the overall decor, which is a mix of rustic, traditional with a modern clean look. Very nice ambiance. Good beer & ale selection. Perhaps could have more cider options too (only 1 cider was available from the tap). The menu has a good selection on offer & the quality, taste & presentation was good. Just 2 points i would criticise which perhaps is more of a personal preference...I have ordered cottage pie expecting it to come with the traditional pastry & more veg but instead the dish had the chef twist to it & no pastry at all, which for me was a little disappointing. But it was very tasty & beautifully presented. Husband ordered the burger but thought it was a bit on the dry side. So he won't order it again. Not every place knows how to master a good burger, which seems such an easy dish but often gets overlooked & not much attention given. Would we come back? Yes, we would & will but perhaps with different food choices next time. I can certainly recommend.

Sunday lunch, beef and one pork. The trimmings were good. Towering Yorkshire pud, carrots parsnips and potatoes. The potatoes could have done being more crispy. Nice day to be out. Been visiting the pub for years, the new look, upgrade and extension has been done very well.
Went here a couple weeks back was amazing bar staff lovely young lady called Millie was very kind and helpful. The person to bring the food was also very kind and friendly with a positive attitude, believe her name was Georgia. All and all very happy clean and nice place to visit felt the staff where very lovely but felt the manager was quite neglecting of helping the staff when they needed help exactly on bar but very love pleace 10 out of 10
Place has a really cool vibe, the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. The social distancing is observed by everyone well. Food was delicious and the desserts were exquisite. Overall, a must visit place.
For one reason or another, my wife and I have eaten burgers at a significant number of pubs in Buckinghamshire (we know what we like!) - and we agree, hands down, that The Harrow's 7oz steak burgers are the best pub burgers we've ever eaten! To boot, the chips were crispy, but not oily. The staff are incredibly friendly, the service was quick and the pub itself is very presentable. Keep up the good work, folks!
