Great place to go and all of the highest quality. All relaxed and nothing was too much trouble.
Really great food and lovely friendly staff. We had afternoon tea which was a sandwich of your choice (we got prawn and egg both very tasty) and then scone of your choice (we had a yorkshire tea scone and rapsberry with lemon scone again very yummy!). Would recommend
Must have visited on an off day as they appeared rushed and under pressure. The scone was fresh, so fresh in fact, it was still raw inside. 7.85 for a cream tea, you expect it to be good. And no serviettes but she went to testosterone to get some.
Have to confess that we were hoping to go to Bettys but there was a queue! Saw a sign for this place so popped in. What a delightful little place. We were told there would be a short wait for the rhubarb and vanilla scone as it was just in the oven - can't get fresher than that! It was delicious, as was the cherry and sultana (very naughty and had jam and cream too). We had coffee (sorry!) as needed a boost before driving home to the Midlands but the tea selection looked interesting. A nice selection of home made cakes on display, all looked very tasty. The staff were really friendly, very nice visit.
