Excellent if you need to get somewhere.
Excellent bus station, nice modern design inside there's offices on hand for travel information, tickets etc. Here, you can pick up a copy of the annual complete bus times book for all of 'first' buses in and to and from Portsmouth and information on local places of interest. Nice toilets here too. Very useful bus station, sometimes had armed police on hand which was somewhat alarming but reassuring at the same time. Get the bus to Southampton from here for a day trip, cost 7 day ticket for S. Hampshire bus travel. Great value.
Is a good station, very clean and safe
