We went to the Hankridge Arms as a half way meeting point with some family. The food was excellent, portion sizes were huge and the service was amazing. Very friendly and welcoming staff and reasonably priced. Best meal out we have had in a long time :)
Not bad for a pub on a commercial park next to a Travelodge. The food was pretty good. Not cheap but probably worth the money. It's been well designed so that the interior looks much older than the outside.
I was only in the area briefly to visit a shop on the doorstep. I pre booked for lunch and found the staff very welcoming, along with a lovely woodburning stove. My partner and I both had the roast beef which was good and there was plenty of it.
The three cheese soufflé is out of this world and extremely well priced for the taste, simply sensational. The time you have to wait for the quality of food is quite surprising. Welcoming, friendly, attentive service carried out with a professional manner. I'd go out of my way to visit again if I was passing through the area. Truly great food and experience
