Brilliant little local - renown for a beautifully curated revolving list of great ciders. Friendly staff, great laughs and the best scotch eggs I've had in a while. It's a treasure of a pub - the namesake of Sam the most handsome cat that ever lived. Rest his soul. Avoid if you are suited and booted and like inner city London chain pubs... go if you like a laid back, great cider, handsome cats, creative culture and good conversation.

Nice beer list: really enjoyed the Prohibition blonde and 4 Candles porter and lots of quirky cat centric decoration . A very welcoming landlord and chatty locals. Fab!
Cosy pub with a local feel. Friendly staff. Small range on tap but well chosen. Left feeling relaxed and glad I took the time to stop.
