Dog friendly. Nice locals. Beer is good (I'm told) and changes often. They wheel in a huge TV to show the football. Loos are clean enough. Can't complain! Not eaten there before, so can't comment.
Fairly average food and selection of drinks. Fine for a short stop just off the motorway on the way down to Devon, but not somewhere we'd go out of our way for.
Looks like new owners, we ate there with friends this week. The menu has changed and wasn't very pleasing to the eye? It took over an hour to bring the food out on the table, as the pub was empty apart from us, we also had to return 2 of the meals as they weren't good. Obviously the pub is struggling. We shall not be going back again in the future. Pity this pub used to be so good. .
