Four of us attended. Nice atmosphere. covid conscious. Friendly staff. Been several times. Best Roast around normally. I would say this Sunday they had a different chef. Roast potatoes always home made crispy, proper meat juice gravy, loads of meat,nice veggies Always have a long wait for food. around 45 minutes. Today roast potatoes were frozen ones, veg not cooked very well, not meat gravy. Meat as always plentiful. and tasty. Need other chef back, and more staff to make the service much quicker.

Quintessential village pub. Cheery welcome, good food and real ales. Felt safe with the social distancing in place.
Staff couldn't have been nicer and the food was great. Beautifully presented, flavourful and exactly what we wanted. The chips were just the BEST I have ever tasted. It's probably a good job that I don't live closer!
Very nice not to out of the way good parking nice quite and food is not to bad
Fantastic food and service. With all the restrictions currently in place we felt very safe there and very well looked after. We had our dog with us and were made very welcome outside on the patio. Sandwiches were very good as was my wife’s creme brûlée. Highly recommended
