So far the best restaurant in town. As soon as we ventured inside, we were stunned by traditional look of the tavern. Working personal know english really good, and offered us good suggestions for food and drink. You usually would wait for some time for food to arrive in this restaurant, but it's worth waiting. When I return back to Sofia, I am definitely going here again to have a dinner.

Food was good had grilled trout fish which was tasty but small in size also had a giant cylinder bar of grilled chicken breast which was very good . The plates were wooden material though authentic but not easy to eat in . The ambience was genuine old country style Bulgarian. Highly recommend

I love this Bulgarian restaurant so much! Me and my bf found this restaurant by accident! The staff were very helpful and friendly! There is also a traditional Bulgarian band playing music while you dine! The food is yummy and many choices to choose!

Food - high quality traditional Bulgarian food. They serve really special types of dishes but also quite average. Drinks - a large selection of wines and some different beers Atmosphere - really traditional Bulgarian decoration. Good atmosphere inside, outside ie special. Service - friendly staff and quick service. Location - just outside the main street in Sofia.

Great experience and tasty food. I recommend the mushroom soup and garlic bread which is the best I ever had. Prices quite pricy but it is worth going. Service was kind too.

We went there a week ago and ordered some food. The food was amazing but the prices were too high! At the end we ended up spending more than our budget leaving us without enough change to leave for tip. Two waiters served us and they were like day and night. One was nice, smiley and polite and the other one moody and sarcastic in a bad way. At the end we were almost at our budget but wanted to leave something as a tip, we managed to gather 2 leva and left it with the 50 leva note. Our order was 49 leva. While we were still there getting ready to go, the horrible waiter opened our bill and went to see what we have left for tip and threw all the change we had gathered back at our table laghing at us. This made us feel really bad like we had to leave a good tip otherwise, we were not good enough for his restaurant... Well, we will definitely never go back there again, that's the only thing for sure! I don't know how people should act in Bulgaria, but this is unacceptable by international standards!

Traditional Bulgarian restaurant with live music. You will find a lengthy menu filled with various grilled meat and salads for you to choose from. The decorations are also representative of the traditional Bulgarian theme. I spent the entire dinner looking around the restaurant, and not a single boring spot can be found. The service was a bit wanting as we had to wait for a long time between seating to ordering to receiving our food. The waiters tend to disappear from the restaurant floor at the same time. Patience is definitely needed. All the grilled meat came straight from the kitchen piping hot and very tender. Portion sizes were extremely large. I had to box 2/3 of my chicken shashlik to go.
