It’s a lovely pub don’t be put off on arrival if it’s quiet the staff are brilliant and the food excellent much better than any. Weather spoons or sizzling pub a big thank you we had a great evening in 7/10/20 and back in November 2004 a great big thank you xxx
Was in blackpool for 2 nights, there were 5 adults and 2 kids. We wanted to watch football, so we googled pubs that do food and show sky sports, the Gynn came up in the search. We decided to get a cab and go to the Gynn for food and to watch the football. Taxi 12 each way and when we arrived there was a massive pavement advertisement saying : the Gynn showing Sky Sports. The advertisement was an A board so would go out and go in daily. When we actually got inside and ordered our drinks we were told that the Gynn does not have sky sports. When asked why they advertise it outside on an A board and on Google the waitress just walked off and ignored us.
Worst place in Blackpool! I went to have my breakfast, but all i received was a long cappuccino without coffee with a terrible taste. I asked many times for breakfast and the whiteness just forgot. I repeated and she said that will bring the menu for me, but didn't and then again. Definitely i don't want to go back
Had a lovely meal on monday night starters were a very good size. All the food was well cooked. Even after the kitchen had closed my son want the pecan pie and they went out of their way to do it . Very nice staff in both the restaurant and the bar. Will definitely eat there again when next in Blackpool.
