We’ve eaten in the restaurant a good few times. The food and service is always 5-star. Fresh and flavoursome dishes cooked with love and care. This week (Jan 2021) in lockdown we used the new website and ordered a full range of dishes to collect. As ever, the food was amazing, order ready on time and The staff friendly and so grateful for continued custom and support. Give the Gurkha a go. It’s one of Chelmsford’s best.

Great food. Friendly service. Reasonable price and big portions. We ordered too much and took the extra home. Try number 67 the Brinjal Bhaji - it is aubergine and is a delicious side dish, absolutely delicious. We are not local, but will come back one day
One of the best restaurants in Chelmsford, whether eating in or taking away: dependably excellent food, and always very welcoming. Highly recommend!

The staff are super polite and attentive here. The food is amazing and can come in whatever spice level you can handle. Good value for money and easy to get to.
