Had a takeaway from here yesterday while camping locally. Absolutely gorgeous food, very tasty! I recommend the momos (a sort of stuffed dumpling). We love Nepalese food having tried it before on a trip to India, which is the closest we've ever been to Nepal. The food here was even better...tender meat, subtle blends of spices, probably the best take away we've ever had in Britain! The staff were lovely, the food took about 35 minutes to prepare and the restaurant itself looked good too, (it was booked up on the Saturday we visited, so I recommend reservations in advance if you want to dine in ). Overall, we will definitely be coming back to Brecon just so we can get more food from this lovely restaurant! It really is THAT good!

This was absolutely amazing. The dishes are very well priced. I loved every single bite. The only problem I had was that there wasn't more (The portions can be large, I just eat a lot). Honestly, the best restaurant I have been to in wales, would definitely recommend to anyone who wants a mix between Chinese and Indian food. This is 100% the place to go. The waiter was very welcoming, polite and professional. I could not recommend anywhere as much as I recommend this place. It can be spicy so watch out. The food is clearly cooked by the heart of the chefs and everything is freshly made and has fresh seasoning on it.
Negative Marks for Social Distancing, Track and Trace. The restaurant doesn’t follow social distancing measures, the seating arrangement is pretty crammed. There is no track and trace form filling. Long wait times. Absolutely delicious food - the food tops it all. It’s a shame they ran out of momos but overall pretty impressed by the Gurkhali flavours. A lot of people assume that Nepali food is akin to Indian cuisine and flavours match. While we do share the same bread (nan/chapati), Nepali cuisine have some exponentially awesome ones like Gilo roti and Sel roti. The curry flavours are distinctly awesome, you can taste the curry with a lot of strong spices unlike some generic Indian curries. I was delighted with the Himali Khukhura, which is like a patty of minced chicken in thick gravy. This went remarkably well with the garlic naan. I’d recommend this restaurant- however they need to atleast get the track and trace system in place given so many people are casually seated side by side.
I give it 5* because of the combination of good food for a reasinable/low price in a very nice ambiance. It's not a five star restaurant, but the dishes they serve are well spiced and very well (rather low!) priced. The food isn't 'overspiced', but the spices are in balance. I like that. They serve hot food, but also have their share in medium hot or not hot. Extra plus: the upstairs dinning room where you will have your conversations with people you haven't met before, simple because of the way the room is organised!! I are there twice and had lovely conversations with other guest. Service: friendly with a warm smile.
Lovely meal. Staff so friendly. We ordered a set meal for 2 which consisted of 2 fish curries, 2 rice, 2 spinach dishes, yellow lentils and black lentil dishes and sweet naan and a fresh salad and sauces. This would be enough for 4 people. Very generous portions. Truly delicious and the leftovers to take home for tomorrow's dinner. Win win
