Very Covid safe. Good selection of ales and friendly staff. Good traditional local pub. Reccomend if you are in the area.

Simply the best pub I've ever been to.
This is a lovely, popular pub, chock full of delightful punters and great service. But, like a few other 'real ale' pubs round here they persist in serving almost entirely Pale ales. No, Ruby's, Amber's, Milds etc it's winter, I don't really want to drink hoppy, citrusy drinks. They all seem to think that this blind obedience to pale ale is satisfactorily offset with Porter. It isn't.
