Brilliant food. Brilliant staff. Management can be a bit full on. Overall a lovely experience. Will visit again once our \government\ stop closing the safest sector , hospitality. ! Looking forward to it.

Had a lovely meal with friends last night. Food very good, lovely atmosphere. Staff very professional and courteous. Nothing was too much trouble. Would recommend highly and hope to return in the near future. David Owens
I have visited the Grumpy Mole for afternoon tea on 2 previous occasions and had enjoyable experiences , today I took my friend to thank her for a particular kindness and expected to enjoy the afternoon tea. The sandwiches and beverages were very nice but the scone ,cream and jam which most people look forward to was a complete let down .The scone had not been made correctly and therefore when cooked was hard and heavy , the manager when called said he would get us some fresh ones , they were exactly the same as the first. The manager was not very apologetic and left us saying he would come back (he didn’t) and left it to his very nice waitress to explain he would only charge me for 1 cream tea. The whole experience was spoilt and although I live very close by I will not be going back .I would have expected better from this establishment.
