Love this place... went to the kids park today. Very busy despite the cold and getting dark but lovely friendly parents and kids taking it in turns and being considerate

Lovely park on the whole. Lots of birds to feed, a great kids play area with a range of equipment for younger and older children and plenty of space to picnic or play. Parking was a little difficult and there was a traffic warden eyeballing my car when I got back to it despite no signage stating any parking restrictions Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is access and parking

So many different areas to explore with plenty for all to do whether you want to sit and enjoy a peaceful moment or your kiddos want to run around and climb trees! The wildlife is AMAZING - such a privilege to be so close to beautiful animals and feel like you are in the country side but be so close to plenty of amenities. Also Pram Friendly which is a major plus! Next time we are going to wilderness Island but maybe without the pram!

Beautiful place to bring the kids and feed the wildlife lots of squirrels and birds including more than one nesting pairs of herons and I evan spotted a little grebe here the over day.

Nice public park with river going through. Pity about the roar of the traffic. Could do with more flowers and attractive planting - you can see that it once was a pleasant garden around the river but has been left to die from a thousand cuts.
