We have been to the grove Inn four times in the last two weeks. Excellent service, delicious food, great atmosphere. And already the second time we and our dogs were welcomed friendly by the regulars' table as well. All our concerns about English food have vanished into thin air. One more point we would like to emphasize, the hygiene compliance with regard to Covid-19 is simply exemplary. Many thanks to the whole team for the wonderful time. Cheers from Germany

Had a lovely lunchtime bevvy here... Didn't try th e food but a proper host and village pub atmosphere. We'll be back!.... and we have been... Sunday lunch... roast lamb and trimmings...lovely. ..but beaten by the remarkable sweets... yum...
On a short break from Chichester area we managed to get a table outside on a Friday evening with weather set fair. Had a lovely meal accompanied by a few drinks. Made to feel very welcome by staff who guided us through their Covid protocol. Overall a thoroughly enjoyable visit, so much so we are in eating there again later in week.
Sat outside, food was very good (even if we did arrive right on the cusp of the ordering time!). Nice beer and a friendly landlord. Would recommend if nearby.
This is a lovely little pub in a nice, quiet village. The food was delicious and staff very friendly. I'd definitely visit here again if given the chance.
