Very disappointed...... had creamy chilli chicken and pasta ...... had lumps of fat from bacon, hoards of bacon and bits plus gammon...... worst of all, no mention of that in the menu. Also, incredibly salty. Avoid if you are sensitive to sodium. My daughter ordered the 8oz steak with sauteed onions and mushrooms.... well, the steak was pretty good, no complaints. Raw and slightly warmed mushroom and the onions were soggy & oily. Nice place, poor food. If you're in the area, avoid this one as there are much better places in town to eat.

Great location and parking beside. Beautiful decor and delicious food. Staff are always friendly. Great safety precautions for coronavirus in place and spotless clean.
If you haven't tried this place, then you need to book. Real tastey fresh delicious food & drinks. Can't wait to go back again and work my way through the menu (loads to choose from) staff friendly and over all great service.
I went to the grouse yesterday as part of a group for dinner and a few drinks. The place was beautiful and very clean. I tried the new pizza menu which I'm glad i did. The pizzas are very fresh and delicious. The portion sizes are very good and of great quality. With no room left for dessert we decided to try a few cocktails. The French martinis were my favourite. Stunning. All in all we had a great evening and would like to thank the staff who were the best at accommodating us and serving everything to our table promptly and with great professionalism. The staff were sl good at coming back for drinks orders and checking everything was as requested. Which it was. Great service again from the grouse and honestly wouldn't go anywhere else now in Ballymena.
Staff were very attentive and very polite, Greg, Odran and Ben especially. Not forgetting Rauri and Andrew. Alan Smyth aka...Smitty who got us our table.
