We chose the Griffin for our wedding anniversary meal as my family are fussy and only like chips and burger-style food, while I'm not keen. So the fact that they do Thai food really pleased me. We also wanted to support a local business. Staff were very attentive and we received a great service. We were the only ones seated inside as it was too hot to be out and we felt safe. I loved the Thai food, which was excellent. The only reason I haven't given 5 stars is that we specifically asked for my daughter to have a *plain* burger with nothing in it at all... And it had mayo in it. Mayo was also in my husband's burger, despite it not being mentioned on the menu. If it had been on the menu we would have made sure to ask for no mayo as the whole family dislikes it! We didn't say anything as we didn't want to make a fuss-- we scraped it off. Overall I would return, particularly while the Eat Out to Help Out offer is on.

Fantastic cosy pub, nicely decorated inside with outdoor space too. Staff are friendly and attentive, food is delicious - both normal pub grub and authentic Thai food - generous portions and great value for money. I went for a Sunday lunch with some family. They are adhering well to COVID guidelines too, there is sanitiser around and the staff all wear masks - felt safe here.
We we're lucky enough to park our van for overnight stay. Had a meal. Good food, great staff. Very pleasant atmosphere.
Visited recently and very covid friendly. Served by a young lad who was very helpful, reassuring and made us feel comfortable. Table service is nice to be honest.
Excellent Thai food in a delightful classic pub setting - we ordered one of each Thai dish and the mixed starter and we had clear plates all round. My only suggestion would be to get some more local or craft beers on tap.
