It is a beautiful place, food was served quickly, portions were large and it was very tasty, customer service was A*, waiters/waiteresses are very polite and attentive. Plenty of tables available inside and outside, and all tables are cleaned and sanitised after people leave to make it ready for next customers. They serve a good and tasty selection of warm drinks, e.g. hot chocolate, cappuccino, latte, mocha.

The place is old and traditional, with a nice atmosphere. Good inside and outside seating available. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was really nice with a good selection on the menu. They have a good drink selection although a few more ales might be nice. I'd go again.

The Griffin Inn truly is a stunning wedding venue. The staff are absolutely lovely too. I would highly recommend it!
Lovely food and lovely beer, however the lack of COVID precautions just made me feel uncomfortable unfortunately. None of the staff followed any social distancing or wore masks. When eating outside to be safe you have to go inside to order which just increases the risk... sorry guys, will be back when everything has calmed down a bit!
