Really lovely pub with great beer, good wine and delicious food. We're in Beaminster for a week and we will definitely be back!

Good pub fare, reasonably priced. We visited for an early lunch, so it wasn't very busy (which we prefer). The pub itself is full of character, and may be a lively place in the evenings. I particularly enjoyed the 'Seven Swans' gin, which is not widely available. Evidence that they support local brands.
Straightforward pub in a quiet village doing its best for the locals and tourists like me. I visited on a Saturday and ordered the full English breakfast at 2.30pm. I'd missed breakfast so that was all I needed. Thanks very much.
Very salty mushrooms in peppercorn sauce, a gravy with 4 peppercorns . Steak and ale casserole good with lovely fresh veg. Very friendly staff. I would say a local pub very much for the locals, lots of dogs too.
