To be honest 1 star is being generous. The triple chinned, neck bearded bottom feeder that told us our 7 month old was the reason why we needed to leave or split our group across 2 outdoor tables, which were right next to eachother, made it easy to take his first option and leave. I'd rather eat carpet fluff than whatever that sweaty power tripping weirdo was going to microwave for us. To be fair, I'm delighted that we didn't waste the money there and he was able to make the decision to cross the bridge to eat at a decent establishment much easier. Maybe they deserve another star for that?

Really friendly local pub serving good food. Stopped here whilst on holiday, we made for this place having enjoyed it a few years ago and we were not disappointed, the weather was hot & humid outside so we sat inside & they were happy for our Lurcher to occupy a large area of floor, the drinks were cold and the food, a hound burger was really tasty. Will be stopping by next time we are in the area.

This is a 'proper' pub with a simple menu choice but great portions. There's a good size garden and parking either in front or on the road. The staff are friendly and efficient.

Aftar a walk around the countryside, this is the best pub in the area to kick back. Recommend the dirty chips and fish finger sandwich. They also have a great mural.

Chili was good but (correct me if I'm wrong) but the rice was the same as Uncle ben's I buy at sainsburys. Beer was well kept and the beer garden is nice and spacious.
