Our first visit to The Green Oak was never less than excellent. We enjoyed a superb lunch and attentive service. The lunch menu is quite extensive and should provide something for all tastes. A word of warning for the ultra-sensitive - the tasteful decor contains quite a lot of dead things (small birds, butterflies and animal skulls). If this sort of thing offends you, go elsewhere. In

Quick stop off on way home from Legoland. Superb Sunday Roast. I had the Pork. The crackling was ace. Kids menu was good too. Kids roast big enough for an adult! Not sure anyone was within 10m of us. Never mind 2m. Really impressed, thanks!
Great food, we had to go for takeaway because of covid but still food was very well prepared and presented. Eager to return and eat in when possible.
Amazing traditional Sunday Lunch Roast Chicken with all of the trimmings in this beautiful restaurant. Generous portions, a delicious lunch and super helpful team.
