Busy, pandemic, what pandemic? We sat outside and despite the chilly wind had some great cocktails and a lovely meal. It was full inside but the tables were well spaced and everyone seemed very relaxed. It would have been nice to have been able to walk to the garden without going inside.

Great little pub with its modern yet country feel. Very warm welcome both before and after using facilities on a local walk. Great coffee and comfy sofas by the log burner. Thank you!
Went lunchtime on Wednesday was really looking forward to it as been many times before . Surprised to find they were not taking part in the government scheme of reduced prices. Our meal was nice however I do think more choice is needed, fir example baguette s sandwiches at lunch times . When we got the bill we only noticed that it was wrong as we had to split it. 30 pounds wrong to be exact although the waitress said sorry the manager was not at all apologetic and no we will give you a drink to make up for our mistake or the time we had to wait to get it rectified . So got to say on the whole was very very disappointed
Great food- Lovely Ambience and setting - well run establishment- highly recommended- book early
Had a fantastic time celebrating my 30th. Staff were wonderful and very accommodating and couldn't have done more, making this special occasion even more special.
