Only had a drink here but formed the clear impression that this is a friendly and well run pub. Sensibly limited food selection looked good. Hooky to die for.

Lovely sites. Very good service and everything was very very good
Very good local pub. We were not super hungry and wanted to leave room for dessert, so we shared the pan fried fillet of hake. Excellent dish! I'm America, our expectation of food at a pub is very low. This was the quality of a high end kitchen. Also, we had to get the sticky toffee pudding. Worth every calorie!
Very covid safe. Friendly staff and good beer ( hook Norton) . What's not to like
Had a great meal here served by very friendly staff. Plenty of choice and dog friendly too, worth a visit
