Highly recommended....the fish was beautifully done with the thinnest batter I've eaten The chips were lovely fried. You won't be disappointed.... guarantee I used to visit there when Wong was running the famous chips shop. I wonder what happens to him...I think he retires... thanks Mr. Wong
Just had fish and chips from this this place. The fish was huge with a light crispy batter, beautifully cooked and not at all greasy. The chips were also crispy and remained so to the last one. Our favourite fish bar now. We will certainly be returning very soon. Thank you The Great Moor Fish Bar.
A chip shop supposed to be open till 9. Don't expect to get what you want within the last half hour of service. I only wanted a bag of chips at 8:45 and was told they'd sold out. It only takes 7 minutes to cook chips. The staff can't be bothered. Not interested in to serving till closing time too busy cleaning, which should be done once kitchen is closed. Ive ran professional kitchens for years and with that sort of attitude towards customers I will be advising everyone l know to go elsewhere if they want good service.
Fantastic Fish & Chip experience. we really enjoyed our visit to this new owners chippy. the fish was the size of a whale gorgeous cooked to order when you arrive , the best chips I have ever tasted and they have lots of choices on the menu also.. your food is served in Boxes which keeps them hot and crispy very nice happy lady serving you its a pleasure to go in. I will be going back soon.
