Arrived at this busy vibrant gastro pub in full lunchtime swing. There was a choice between a set menu (aprox 12 for two courses) and a la carte. Table service was prompt, friendly and helpful. Food was delicious and the a la carte menu options were varied with lots of choice. Decent portion sizes too. The premises itself was very clean and social distancing rules were certainly being adhered to during our visit. There is a large eating space complimented by a pretty garden (order at the bar for food). Will def be back!

Lovely warm and cosy pub. Had the Sunday roast and it was delicious. Menu looked good and it changes often. Staff were friendly and the atmosphere was great - not too loud or busy.
Another most excellent lunch at this fine eaterie. Booking is essential since reopening. One way system, hand sanitisation, single use menu and condiments, all well thought out and effective Covid-19 controls. Gluten free options on most menu items.
Have visited quite a few times over the past few years, continues to be excellent. Sat in the garden, had 3 excellent courses (recommend the burger) and good local beer. Prompt friendly service. One of the best pubs in the Canterbury area.
Good friendly service from the young staff. Well managed restaurant even when busy. Family friendly and welcoming to going baby. Food good quality. Burger good but not fantastic, beef patty seemed a bit dense and not top quality but still a 4star burger. Good wine list, seasonal beers, well stocked bar. Free wifi.
