Warm welcome even though we hadn't booked. Social distancing taken seriously and we felt safe. Good food well cooked. Portions are substantial. All staff cared about our comfort and satisfaction. We were lucky to get a table but no less welcome. We will return. We'll done and thank you.

Great tasting food with varied menu and good beer. Lovely people in traditional setting made the perfect family lunch.
Good outdoor space, plenty of room to dine on the grass and spread out, so great for dogs. Food quality average I would say, but a very wide menu with options to suit picky eaters. One way system in place for Covid, which was good. Track & trace was a chalkboard asking customers to text their details in, but the number was smudged so I don't imagine this works too well. Friendly enough staff. They were very busy on a Saturday lunchtime which was great to see.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND! This pub was perfect for my partner and I as they had many vegetarian and vegan options for her and your typical pub favorites for myself. She ordered the vegan nut roast which she loved and the fish and chips were great and both very good serving sizes. We also ordered the vegan lemon cheesecake and ice cream which was also amazing.The staff were very friendly and helpful. Food came out pretty quickly. Prices are also very reasonable for the quality you get.
