Awful. One of the worst fish n chips experiences I've endured. Chips. God. The chips are raw and uncooked. Definitely not fresh and probably just cut around the blue and green parts and flash fried these. No crunch. Just cold, soggy and raw. The fish. Good grief. 90% soggy flavourless batter that just falls off the scarce haddock portion when you pick it up. Pick it up because they don't provide forks. Or sauce. Just wee sachets of Little Chef grade brown or tomato. No bottled sauce. They manage to miss the food with salt and vinegar from point blank range as the food is beyond bland. I got halfway through and had to chuck it because this was a punishment. Went to Mario's instead which was vastly superior. If you claim to like this food you're either lying or you're into self harm. Terrible.

Everytime I want a fish supper which is maybe twice a month I will travel from Dundee to arboath to the golden Haddock. Have never been dissatisfied with the fish which is always fresh. I have been going to the golden Haddock for over 5 years best in the area
Now these are seriously good fish and chips! Well worth a visit (or ten!)
Fantastic potato fritters from this wee jem of a chippy. Try it out you'll not look back i promise. Or use there new delivery service there fast and prompt with excellent piping hot food. They deliver to all caravan parks in arbroath for a reasonable price
