Fantastic Experience This was the first time that we had ate at the Goat having only stopped there once before for a cold drink. A slight gamble on our part as we took our friends with us who have excellent taste and judgement when comes to selecting places to eat out. All four of us had a fantastic experience - lovely food, friendly staff, great service and a pleasant atmosphere. A well-deserved 5 stars and highly recommended.

Lovely place. 5 stars!
A really pleasant surprise. We are local and pass this pub regularly. We have seen it change hands several times wondering when something will happen. Well its great! Nicely done out,spacious, great staff although when we arrived there was a grumpy outburst from someone who may have been the boss! What impressed us was the good food and the two local beers! Brilliant to see them and well kept. Will definitely visit again and pass the word round. Oh the grumpy bloke did say thank you when we left.
Lovely location and decor. I opted to try the food and the portions were decent! Great tasting food and amazing value for money! Would highly recommend eating there as well. Welcoming staff, the Italian man (maybe the manager?) had a lovely chat with us. Also has ample parking!
First time visit. Huge improvement over the last incarnations of The Malthouse, I think the new owners have found the winning formula.
