Very nice pub, great homemade food (delicious) and atmosphere. The staff is friendly and the company of the sweet dog make it all so warm and cozy and you feel so welcome! It was a nice stop in our trip trough the Highlands, got a beautiful memory of it. I do definitely recommend this place.

We stopped here for the evening while driving through Scotland. Like many places in the area, it’s an older building, but it’s comfortable and clean. The rooms were clean, good hot water, friendly staff. We booked a room for one night and then had some of the local scotch at the bar below. Was quite and comfortable in the rooms. Breakfast was included and was quite good, a more than enough to eat. When I come back through, I’ll stay again.
A homely village inn with many interesting featuŕes. The menu is varied with interesting dishes which are delicious and served very quickly. There is a snooker table and darts board as well as a corner with books and games. The staff are very friendly and helpful, a lovely atmosphere for any style of occasion.

The glenavon is a great little pitstop to recharge, grab one of the burgers local boar and apple burger was actually better than expected. The owner Alexandria is a lovely lady, would stay again!
