We loved this place when it was our local and it's testimony to how good it still is that we made an 18-mile round trip to \drop in\. Excellent beer, a friendly welcome and great service. The garden is a treat as always with award-winning flower arrangements and the Covid arrangements are spot on. Thoroughly recommend to fans of a traditional, well run pub

A hidden gem, very relaxing, cosy - reminds of pubs I miss back home (Crosby, Liverpool)... thinking The Volunteer or Crows Nest. Great beers and service too!
