This gift shop has a shabby chic feel about it. Selling seasonal gifts and cards, with a cafe situated at the rear of the premises. A must see if you are visiting this historic town.
I have used this place for years and have always found it extremely good for cards and gifts. However, with just over a week to go to Christmas I popped in to buy some cards at 4.55 on Thursday evening. I was greeted with \we're closed\, no apology. I asked what time they closed and the response was 5pm unless we're quiet. I was a customer ready to make a few purchases to a small local business but they couldn't be bothered. That is such a shame. I am sure the very courteous owner would have been horrified if he had sen the way this was handled. Very unprofessional, discourteous and not even an apology. Needless to say, I'll be frequenting other stores in future.
