Popped in for some lunch today. Received a warm welcome from the lady behind the bar, covid rules were being applied, good choice of menu and the food I chose was lovely. A warm welcoming fire topped it off on what was a cold wet day. Will go again and am happy to recommend.

Super evening. No complaints whatsoever. First time I've visited since new ownership. Lots of light and space. Superb salmon starter with nice fresh bread started followed by excellent steak pie - one of the best I've had. Highly recommended. Will be returning. Very pleasant staff.
Visited the Giant whilst passing through the village. Booked a table to be sure for lunch. Staff were very friendly from the start and clear instructions in place during these strange times. Food was lovely and fairly priced we thought. 3 baguettes and one eggs Benedict, all were enjoyed followed by the chocolate brownie. Well worth a visit if in the area.
Lovely warm welcome from a lovely traditional pub.... Complete with a lovely roaring fire!! Really cosy feel to it.... especially on cold nights!
Great pub, lovely atmosphere, helpful staff and friendly locals, tasty food and they don't skimp on the portions. Highly recommended!
