Excellent new addition to Levenshulme and right on my doorstep. Vegan/veggie, cafe, bar and deli. Well priced, Portuguese wine and a nice range of (6) beers on tap. The quiche was very good 5.
I visited the Gherkin twice today, or as I like to call it-my second home! In the morning I had a delicious CBD soya lattein the afternoon thru to early evening I enjoyed half a shindigger a delicious,spicy bloody Mary. I also bought the best energy balls ever-lemoncoconutorangecacao. I love it here-the staff are the best,always welcomingfriendly,the location-great.It's great to go somewhere as a lone woman(or sometimes with friends) to feel safecomfortable. Oh my god! This food is incredible! My partner and I turned up just after they had closed but the owner was kind enough to let us have a takeaway meal. Two Thai curries that were an absolute taste sensation! I'm not a vegan but this food really blew me away. I will definitely be going back here regularly.
A colleague mentioned this was near my office when I fancied a nice coffee. One of the best coffees I've had in a long time. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Will definitely be going back to try out the food and beers.
