Nice compact venue, good sound and nothing to obstruct the view .Saw Porridge Radio supporting BC Camplight and they are exceptional

Was here 31/1/20 to see She Drew The Gun during independent venue week. As part of the set Louisa read it a poem she'd written for IVW basically lambasting all the things about live venues that the Georgian Theatre isn't. The venue itself is an ideal size and has great sound. The bar (I wasn't drinking!) is in a different space (hence only 4 stars) so there's no watching the band from the bar. I looked well stocked, almost entirely of non standard beers. The people of Stockton are lucky to have this place

This is a great venue for small bands, live music & shows. Only down side is the location is VERY quirky and not so obvious to find. Google street view seems to show an alley & still no obvious sign where it is. Would suggest parking in a local car park then walk the last bit. The venue is tucked away within a block of buildings closed off from traffic by automatic bollards. If you're carrying equipment by vehicle for an event here, make sure you get a MAP from the venue showing access and arrange for the bollards to be opened beforehand!! Despite that, great little bar here, good selection of beers and reasonably priced too. Acoustics super!

Had a fantastic time watching local (and regional) bands. Great to see them being given a platform and I'd recommend all the live bands I saw to anyone. What's better than live music?!?
