Great friendly welcome, warm atmosphere, good music in the background and brilliant COVID lunch menu. How they do it for that price I don't know. Lovely hot, tasty food and well presented. All credit to the Landlord whose initiative it was to do an affordable menu to keep The George as a special place for locals to meet and enjoy company. Well done.

Excellent welcome. Traditional pub. Good local beers and very good freshly cooked quality meal with cheerful staff. All nicely presented and entirely what should be expected at a good pub with food.
Since the George has reopened we have been in every weekend being locals. Great food good selection of drinks. What we do find is that the holiday makers do seem to come first on several occasions. Just remember the locals will still be there once the holiday season ends. Apart from that a great place.
Called in for the first time. The food was freshly cooked and excellent. The staff were very attentive and friendly.
