Great wee local boozer, recently changed ownership. had a spruce up. It's the only place in Hamilton town centre with cask ales on tap that i know of and all other usual drinks available. A great bonus is no sky sports, so conversation is the entertainment. Good crowd of varied people mostly mature but a mixture of young as well. Would recommend for a quiet few beers

This pub is letting Hamilton down. It has changed in so many ways. The drinks weren't consistent in taste. The Gents & Ladies toilets were diabolical, very unclean. Obviously not being spot checked or cleaned. The social distancing was not adhered to. This used to be a nice place but has dropped off the map of a place to visit. Avoid this pub.

Brilliant traditional pub in the heart of Hamilton. The Tennents and Guinness are of supreme quality. The staff are also fantastic as well, very affable and friendly I cannot recommend highly enough

The George hidden gem in Hamilton lots of people don't know its there. Good inexpensive food and drink. Staff welcome you like a local. Not always busy, but one that deserves to survive. Always drop in with my friends when in Hamilton.
