Nice enough but won't be rushing back - a bit over hyped. Nice kids playground area. Food was good but not outstanding - nice main but small and left hungry, chocolate tart for pudding was big and rich. If it wasn't for the eat out to help out I would have left feeling it was quite expensive for what it was. Not enough waiting staff too.

Housed in a 400 year old pub it has that British country warming character. The warmth continues with chatty, friendly, attentive and helpful staff. Their guidance through the menu was honest and exemplary. The recommended veggie burger was the beat example I have had the pleasure of eating. The staff went in as far as recommending a dessert and pairing it with off the menu ingredients. Their side recommendation elevated and complemented the crumbly dish. Price is excellent given the quality. On this occasion, which is rare, I was sad to say goodbye.
A lovely lunch. Service was a little slow but that may have been because we were in out of sight area. Good was delightful however
