Lovely staff and good service the food was lovely

Have been coming to The General Eliott for years now and it never disappoints! I usually like to sit outside in the beer garden overlooking the canal. Staff are always friendly providing fast and efficient service. On my most recent visit we ordered 2 roast dinners and a rack of ribs, arrived at our table lovely and hot. Generous portions, excellent quality food at a reasonable price. PS, try the new Beavertown neck oil craft beer!

Loved it! Good, honest food and great atmosphere. We visited on a Saturday lunchtime and would recommend. Family ran and dog friendly too!
Nice canal-side pub. Recently refurbished both inside and out. Seating outside at the back and a small car park. Food is decent and friendly staff. Live music on certain evenings. Has a couple of tv screens, but only skysports, not BTsport and music events not delayed if sports go into extra time!
