Biggest selection of sausage and mash you could possibly ask for. Friendly staff and in a nice part of town. On the small side so book in advance if you can. There's so small outside seating. Highly recommended!

The sausages are bloody good. I think this is on of the best pubs in town.

Booked a table 2 weeks in advance cos this place is popular and with good reason. Sat near the fire place we had a decent bottle of melbec which paired well with the delicious lamb Sunday roast and don't forget the cauliflower cheese, yum! Staff were really attentive too. Full marks!

Absolutely brilliant !! Bangers and mash night. So many varieties of sausages, mash and gravy and lots of it. Great value too.

I visited yesterday with my girlfriend. Its a nice little pub. We each had a roast dinner, she had the Pork & I had the Lamb, we also ordered extra roast potatoes and pigs in blankets on the side. The roast was really tasty, the veg was really good too especially the savoy cabbage, I couldn't get enough of that. The meat on both of our meals was well cooked and flavoured, the roast potatoes were lovely and crispy. The pigs in blankets were also full of flavour, I found them quite heavy but still really nice. The Yorkshire pudding was well cooked and fluffy on the inside and the dinner came with a decent amount of gravy, the pigs in blankets were alsonwerved in gravy. The pub also provided condiments too. I would definitely go back for a roast here! In the pictures most of the veg is hidden by the meat or Yorkshire. There were carrots, parsnip, red cabbage and the savoy cabbage.
