Ventured here for the first time on a Sunday evening. Fixtures and fittings are quirky. Superb and spacious venue. Has music always a winner! Great atmosphere. Definitely will return for a few Sunday beers

Went in The Gate at end of July, Saturday tea time, on hen do, all bought cocktails, 2 for 1, lovely , great staff. Went in yesterday with husband about same time asked if cocktails were 2 for 1 to be told 'NO', same staff, older guy, rude. So different attitude from a group of girls to a couple!!!!
We played here as part of The Darlington R&B Festival and the owner and staff were brilliant. The crowd were SO friendly and we'll definitely be back
Good service,great DJ's. Always end the night here.
