Visited this cosy independent Bistro pub with open fires. Ordered Ribeye Medium rare steak and my friend had the Ceaser Chicken. I also had the Salmon before which was great. The steak was cooked perfectly. I also tried there dessert, creme brulee which was so tasty and a great portion. You sometimes get these tiny portions, but they did this generously. Hit the right spot it did!!! The plus side to this place is the outside sitting area. Huge garden space with trees and plants surrounding the whole Perimeter. All tables are spaced out for social distancing. Tables spaced out and one way system are in place. Inside you have PVC barriers to ensure distancing to other guests when sitting inside. Spirigel at front to clean hands were provided. The only concern I had was the training of the staff about cleaning contact time for bactericidal and virucidal cleaning on tables and touch points. (Would like to know if the cleaning products are EN14476 approved for virucidal). When I asked they did not know. Other than that the staff were brilliant, and attended our needs at all times.

Lovely steak pie meal with my girlfriends (just beat the Level 2 rules). Well managed distancing, excellent waiter service. We were allowed to stay and talk for hours. Very enjoyable experience.
Great place, food is always good and plentiful, no bookings though, can get busy, but worth the wait!!
Came for my boyfriend's birthday with family , food was amazing staff also friendly, there is a kids menu on request highly recommend the Teriyaki salmon delicious, also the lamb cutlets went down a treat
