Superb local pub. The ladies running the bar could not do enough for us. We stopped over in our Motorhome, had drinks and dinner and really enjoyed ourselves. The steak and kidney pudding and lasagne were superb. Great atmosphere. We will definitely stop off again.

Pleasant and friendly village pub with nice sheltered beer garden. Sunday roasts are a bit cheaper than those normally found but its quality is also basic. Worth a visit.
Lovely pub but my goodness the food is incredible. Insane value for money considering it was one of the best meals I’ve ever had. Thank you!
Have to say looking at the previous review we must have turned up on a bad day. Have been to this pub previously and enjoyed the food, but this time tonight oh no!! Fish was soaked in fat, and the chips unlike previously were clearly out of a bag, what happened to the home made chips??? Had to put up with a couple of regulars, Porsche driver who swore constantly and referred to a certain day of the week-Tuesday?? and various parts of a woman's anatomy, and I'm being honest I can hold my own when it comes to swearing!!!! Guinness not pured right I believe it's supposed to be 119 seconds for the perfect pour, no chance, poured like a pint of lager, so went back to lager. Everyone's opinion is different, personally I wouldn't return.
