A really attractive-looking, red brick Victorian pub, tucked away down a side street, a few minutes walk from the City centre. It’s pretty compact inside with a lovely little beer garden at the side. Offering the full range of Fullers’ ales (I love ESB) and a good range of other beverages. Had the Sunday roast here a couple of times and it was really good. Definitely a proper locals’ pub but very friendly to first time or occasional visitors.
