One of Scotland's best kept secrets resides in Gargunnock. The Gargunnock Inn is a delightful example of classic Scottish ambience in a small village setting. The menu is relatively sophisticated for most palettes and the beverages on hand will satisfy nearly any drinker. Portion sizes are good and prices are completely reasonable. The beer garden is an excellent place to unwind and relax. Gargunnock Inn is not on the main roads out of Stirling but is a short drive from the city and well worth the effort to visit. A fantastic place for a family meal. The place evokes warm and a traditional Scottish setup with lots of sections for individuals or family who either likes a quiet corner or a rowdy family meal. Didn't expect to find a super juicy rib eye steak done exactly what we ordered. Desserts just yummy and price is good.
Pork burger was the best and the apple crumb was delicious. excellent service, friendly staff. Wonderful pub atmosphere would come here every night if I lived here. Just the atmosphere we were looking for in coming to Scotland.
