Food was okay but nothing special. Well presented and tasted fine. Had better for the price range.
Food was lovely (Sunday Roast) however service was not really as I would expect from a local pub. I did however, wish I had bought the dog as it was extremely dog friendly. I just feel the place in having a identity crisis, it's not sure if it's a local pub or a gastro/bistro place. We also found the lighting to be overbearing. If you go in with the expectation that it does not have local pub feel and you just want a good meal with your family and dogs, this place is great!
We popped in for a drink and ended up having a meal , steak and ale pie was superb as was the fish and chips we even bought a meal for our dog from the special menu for dogs, he had sausage rice and gravy and wolfed the lot down. Covid restrictions are very well adhered to , we sat outside in a booth with a heater. Overall a very good pub , great food, great beer and very good staff.
Nice pub, with nice and attentive servers. Food was ok. Had the duck egg with parma ham wrapped asparagus for starter. Meatballs with linguine for main and brownie for dessert. Meatballs were slightly overdone so they were dry and chewy but the flavour of the tomato sauce was very nice.
