What a Gem! Went for a walk and stumbled across this little beauty! Staff are incredibly friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable about the food and drinks they serve. The food... well just delightfully delicious! We had a grouse starter which was beautiful. For mains the steak gnocchi and duck sausages both were lovely dishes. Definitely will be returning to this gorgeous restaurant and would advise if you fancy something scrumdidliumptious head over there. Also the decor is a classy mix of old wooden beams and mood lighting. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

We were staying nearby for or 20th wedding anniversary and came here for supper. The waitresses were all very attentive and the food was delicious. The owner talked us through the menu and made recommendations.
The food here is always absolutely amazing. Whilst the pudding doesn't look that posh it was unbelievably tasty! The pictures don't do the food justice. It is a well run gastro pub with locally caught produce.
Outstanding food and service. Menu is varied and all locally sourced. Perfectly cooked and wonderful service. Sandra and Phil have been here for years and have maintained excellent standards. Highly recommended
