Really nice food, we went for Sunday dinner, 2 courses 19.50 and we're pleasantly surprised with the portion sizes, especially the mains. Quite a small and intimate room, very nicely decorated as is the hotel throughout.
Why are you showing as open when your are closed? I've driven 45 minutes to be here today. Thanks for nothing we won't be returning.
I don't often leave reviews but the Galloping Major most certainly deserves one! Myself and my daughter visited the Galloping Major for their tasting menu last week and it was fabulous! The restaurant is beautiful, the staff were very knowledge on the food and wine and made the experience very relaxed and enjoyable and the food was delicious! I cant wait to go back and try the afternoon tea!
This restaurant was recommended to me by a friend and it did not disappoint. The food was delicious, staff very attentive and friendly. We shall definitely be back again! This is something everyone should experience.
