Had a really good pie and mash & delicious fish and chips- Lockdown takeaway from here. Looking forward to visiting again in the spring when we can enjoy the lovely garden or cosy inside (depending on the weather).

Cosy lunch with friends by a real log fire. Firstly, to avoid disappointment, it's advisable to book in advance; there's very limited seating in this beautiful traditional coach-house style public house. We visited in the week after Chistmas 2019, and the food choice would fit most tastes, vegan, vegetarian, and all others - although those with any allergies should check in advance. I had the roast lamb with dauphin potatoes and green beans, very tasty and not too much, and no waste - plates returned to the kitchen clean! The food is well presented and served quickly and efficiently - always a welcome surprise these days. Quality of the food was great, obviously locally sourced and very tasty. We will return very soon a local favourite!
Absolutely love The Gallipot. Staff are always welcoming, great ambience and the food is excellent. I am a concierge at a local AA 4 red star hotel, and this has been my preferred local pub recommendation for the last couple of years and we always have EXCELLENT feedback from every person I send there.

We popped in here for lunch after visiting nearby pooh bridge. Lunch menu is a bit on the heavy side if your just after a lunch type meal but the food we did have was quite nice. If its nice weather I suggest sitting out the back where you can chill out and look over the countryside. (The best bit of going to this pub in my opinion!)
